I love it that you can find your sense of humor after all you have been through. It is what gives me hope that you will beat that cancer and survive well into old age.

Hi, Minerva. I came over from kranki's. Wonderful "song" you've got here, and a wonderful sense of humor. Laughter truly is good medicine. All the best to you :)

Minerva,

Thanks for the comments on my blog. You seem all too familiar with hospitals. I hope you are in remission, and if you are that you remain cancer free. My mom's been cancer free for two years now. I'm happy that you have a sense of humor about your experience, laughing is the best part of life.

I think that somewhere there is a magnificent garden overlooking the sea. And at the edge of this garden is a table with a glass of the most heavenly wine. The intoxicating fragrance of flowers along with the warm gentle breezes stir both the life within me and the garden. And I can hear your song. And I smile because I know that you are not defeated. And I offer you a place to rest at this table by the sea to enjoy your glass of wine.
Keep singing Minerva!

You forgot that other Cancerous Christmas classic

O little tumor in my breast
I wish thee fond farewell

Please shrink away this very day
and guide thee straight o hell.

Keep on smiling, it helps and it's cheaper than pills!!
