staring at the screen, I am afraid to go to bed. I am afraid as I am sure that I will wake up tomorrow morning with the same splitting headache that I have every 3rd day after chemo, with the same churning stomach that swills at the thought of taking my anti sickness pills, and then, when I can't bear it any more and actually do try to put the pills in with a sip, a mere, tiny sip of water, they will come flooding back up again, burning my throat as they do... Yet, you know what? I still count my blessings. I am now only sick for a day, maybe a day and a half versus the three days at the beginning, my nausea will wear off by Friday, and I am, really, remarkably well for someone who is undergoing chemo. My treatment has not, *touches every bit of wood around her* been delayed so far, but of course, that will change as I forgot to take down one christmas card on time and left it a day late....
Oh, and the final, wonderful, amazing thing that happened to me today? I am a finalist in the Best of Blogs Most Inspiring Blog award! And it is all down to you who nominated me...Thank you, thank you all so much and I will let you know when they want the votes. *wink*
