Or... you could do like we do in Sweden and rise taxes a couple of % in order to let everyone who has reached the "minimum grade level" go to high-school / college / university for free! The right to a education should not be based on class nor luck (in my humble opinion) /Linda

Minerva: I'm not up to speed on Charter schools. We have a lamentable situation here in the U.S. On the one hand, many fine teachers are underpaid and don't have the authority to hold order in their classrooms. I know that I too would want the best for my son or daughter and agree with you!
