Or... you could do like we do in Sweden and rise taxes a couple of % in order to let everyone who has reached the "minimum grade level" go to high-school / college / university for free! The right to a education should not be based on class nor luck (in my humble opinion) /Linda
Minerva: I'm not up to speed on Charter schools. We have a lamentable situation here in the U.S. On the one hand, many fine teachers are underpaid and don't have the authority to hold order in their classrooms. I know that I too would want the best for my son or daughter and agree with you!
"They can't afford to go to private school, they can't afford to move out of the neighbourhood, they can't move to another town with a stronger school system - and charter schools were created to give them another option."-i read this over and over again,why do we have such system
